We will miss you Sam, having known you for decades. George’s enduring memory is of you thrashing him at squash in the unheated Whitchurch squash courts. More recently we have seen you walking your adorable, if slightly crazy, dog past our drive way and have had the occasional lucky face to face meeting when your lovely smile and infectious laugh usually came to the fore. You leave behind two lovely, caring daughters and their families, who will always be there for Anne as will her many friends as she faces the future. Rest in peace Sam. Sue and George Oakham
